Why Two Shoulder Straps?
Because, what more do you need than a good backpack with two shoulder straps?

Hi guys, and welcome to our site – we’d like to share our travel story with you!
Our relationship journey is a bit complicated, so we will just provide you with a summary. We met in Canada in 2015, where I (Julia) was finishing my Bachelor’s degree and Jonas was on exchange from Germany. After that we did long distance for 2.5 years, and in December 2018 Jonas left Hamburg, and moved to Warsaw.

Since meeting, we have travelled to many places together and taken many flights, besides the countless Ryanair ones between Poland and Germany. We’ve travelled to Morocco and Gran Canaria (2017), Greece and Sicily (2018), Thailand, Vietnam, Portugal, Turkey, Lithuania (2019), Costa Rica (2020), Malta, Italy, Sardinia (2021), Panama (2022).

Julia Skreta: I’m a Canada born, Bermuda raised, Polish 27-year old, currently living in Warsaw. I finished my Bachelor’s degree in Canada, where I met Jonas and my Master’s degree in Warsaw, where I’m currently working as a Global Brand Marketing Manager.

First backpacking trip: Thailand & Vietnam 2019
Favourite hobbies when not travelling: painting, puzzling, board games, eating
Sports: beginner surfer (loves the ocean) and avid skier
New challenge: go hiking and camping more, learn to snowboard

Jonas Flachmeier: I’m a 29 year old globetrotter and expat living in Warsaw. I graduated from the Germany Sports University in 2017 and moved on to work for creative agencies in Hamburg and Warsaw. His focus is media, communication and everything you can create on- and offline.
